Author of 18 books on the theory of translation and methods of teaching and more than 200 articles, practicing interpreter and translator from German (areas: law, medicine, economics, fiction), professor of the Department of Translation of the Herezen Russian State Pedagogical University

Translated the works of I.-V. Goethe, L. Tik, E.-T.-A. Hoffmann, G. Keller, G. Trakl, G. Hesse, G. Broch, R. Musil, E. Jelinek and many others. Translated the Complete Collection of Mozart’s Letters, books on economics, history, philosophy, etc. Received a diploma from the Russian Ministry of Higher Education and Science, a diploma from the National Olympic Committee of Russia; is a laureate of the Prize For Innovation in Education (2018) from the Government of St. Petersburg and the Sign of merit For Cooperation (2018) from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 2010 to 2017, she organized seminars for young translators under the auspices of the Goethe-Institut in Moscow around Russia in Yekaterinburg, Saratov, Krasnoyarsk, Almaty, etc. In 2013-14. was an expert on the Litrix project. Since 2003, she has been organizing regular workshops for literary translators “Vice Versa” in Germany and Russia. In September 2021, she held a seminar for translators of German prose at the House of Creativity in Peredelkino. Since the late 90s, she has trained more than 30 thousand trainers and translators in Russia and other countries at training seminars and translator workshops. Since 2023, as one of the coordinators (together with A. Filippov-Chekhov) of the all-Russian translation project “Cross-regional Translation Workshops PREDELKINO+”, she has conducted translation schools in Nalchik, Kazan, and Vladivostok. Best translation teacher 2023 according to the Association of Translation Teachers of Russia.
