Graduated from SPbU (Philological Faculty, English philology) and studied translation at the Fedorov center for translation studies. (FCTS). Raisa started her career as an interpreter shortly after her graduation, worked with a number of translation companies in Saint Petersburg and interpreted at business meetings and regular trade exhibitions. Currently her areas of interest are political discourse, neurolinguistics, oil and gas translation and interpretation.
