Director of Department of Linguistic Support | MFA of Russia

In 1985 graduated from the Military Institute (Moscow), in 1989 from the Beijing Language Institute, in 1992 from the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

He has the diplomatic rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (awarded on 11.06.2019). He speaks English, Spanish and Chinese.

He has worked in the Russian Foreign Ministry system since 1990 and held various positions in the central apparatus of the Ministry and abroad.

1992–1997 – worked at the Consulate General of Russia in San Francisco (USA).

1999–2001 – employee of the Russian Embassy in the USA.

2002–2003 – Counselor at the Russian Embassy in Yugoslavia, then in Serbia and Montenegro, Russian representative in the UNMIK.

2007–2011 – Consul General of the Russian Federation in Hong Kong (Xiangyang).

2011–2013 – Deputy Director of the Fourth European Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

2013–2014 – Deputy Director of the Consular Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

2014–2015 – Director, Situation and Crisis Center Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

2015–2019 – Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Montenegro.

Appointed Director of the Department of Linguistic Support by Order No. 22097 of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs dated October 25, 2021.
