Graduated from St.Petersburg State University, the Faculty of Philology, with a degree in Philology and Translation/ Interpreting in 1998.

Obtained a doctoral degree (Candidate of Sciences) in 2005.

Translated poetry as well as short and feature films.

Published academic articles on the stylistics of advertising and audiovisual translation.

Teaches creative/academic writing, imagology and translation practice to senior undergraduates.

Directed, wrote and filmed several short films that were selected for screening at international film festivals in Russia.

Founder and head of the jury for the Babylon V International Film Translation Contest, St.Petersburg (2020-2022).
